I made it my mission this year to visit more venues that we already supply, new venues in the area, and ones that I would LOVE to work in more. Well that's kinda gone down the pan coz of the blooming virus, so I'm reminiscing on the ones I actually did manage to visit.

First up, it's Tuffon Hall. I was contact by the lovely Liz who works there to see if we wanted to be involved in their open day in March. Of course we did! However that obviously never went ahead, but I'm looking forward to it being re scheduled when this is all over!

It's a new wedding venue, set in a vineyard with gorgeous views across the North Essex countryside. I mean, that's not to love! The 400 year old threshing barn was renovated in Spring last year, and it's absolutely stunning. Probably one of the nest barn renovations I have seen. They have kept as much of the barn's heritage as possible, the old beams and traditional red brickwork, and the original arrow slits which are probably my favourite part of the bar! It has underfloor ground source heating, so can be used all year round. The large glass windows at the front and back of the barn allow for as much daylight as possible, capturing beautiful sunsets across the back lawn during the evenings.
I also got to meet Pod, the owner and her little boy! Everyone that works there is so lovely, and you will be in very good hand on your big day.

You can choose to either just have your ceremony there, within in the vineyard itself or the cellar doors of the barn. Or of course you can have your whole day there for your exclusive use.

The venue is dry hire, so it means you can really put your own person touch on the venue, from food to furniture and decor (ahem ahem!!). I think our rustic furniture would look pretty perfect here, so get in touch if you're having your big day here and see how we can help. Also their stunning wines, produced right there at the vineyard are available behind the bar, i've tried the bacchus, it's flipping lush!!
Head over to their website for more information on having your big day at Tuffon Hall
